Cherry Mobile has launched officially launched its new hi-end smartphone, dubbed Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power. It can be purchased in the Philippines for just Php 4999 (about US $112 or Rs. 7100).
As the name suggests, the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Power is powered by a huge 4000mAh battery and a 1.4GHz octa-core processor with 1GB of RAM. It also features a big 5-inch on-cell HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. The built-in 8GB of internal storage is further expandable via microSD (up to 32GB).
The Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Powerhouses a 13-megapixel Sony IMX219 rear camera with flash and boasts a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. It supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. It has connectivity specs like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG (with power-bank function), and FM radio. There is no official word on its operating system; most probably, it will be Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
