Capitel has listed another device on his official website, CR 100 3G Universal WiFi Creator, with a tag price of Rs 2999.
According to the official website of Capitel, the CR 100 has a USB 2.0 port to attach any USB Modem (EVDO or 3G) of any brand, model, make, to this nifty little device and create a WIFI Hotspot in that area.
This Capitel’s router also has an IEEE802.3/802.3u fast Ethernet port to share the internal via LAN cable. The CR 100 sports a Two-way Switcher button for WAN/LAN mode to Ethernet port and vice-versa. It boasts a reset button to get the back device to its factory state mode.
The CR 100 features IEEE 802.11 b/g/n (Draft 2.0) standards on the wireless LAN side, data transmission rate up to 150 Mbps. It comes with an internal antenna. WEP Encryption, 64/128 bits; WPA, WPA2; + Authentication: 802.1x, Pre-Shared Key (PSK) and + Encryption: AES, TKIP is featured.
The Capitel CR 100 3G Universal WiFi Creators supports various router functions NAT/NAPT, DHCP Server, DNS Proxy, DMZ, VPN Pass-through (PPTP / L2TP / IPSec), Port Forwarding (10 items), MAC Filter, IP Filter, URL Filter, Printer Server (via USB port when Ethernet is WAN mode) and UPnP.
The CR 100 can work with Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4 / XP SP2 / Vista / 7, Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 with the latest upgrades, Red Hat Linux and Suse Linux operating system.
The router comes with 4 LED lights to indicate USB, Power, Ethernet, and WLAN status. The storage temperature is -10C ~ +70C, whereas operating temperature is 0C ~ +50C, and humidity 5% ~ 95%.
Its dimension is 97 x 85 x 16 mm (WxDxH), weighs 80 gm.
