BlackBerry Passport is expected to be launched on next month, but its full technical specifications has been revealed online.
BlackBerry Passport is seeking to reinvent the physical QWERTY smartphone market. The Passport will be the first-ever smartphone to feature a touch-capacitive physical keyboard.
BlackBerry Passport measures 128 x 90.3 x 9.3mm (9.6mm at camera location), while weighs 194.4 gm (with battery). It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 with 2.2GHz Quad-Core CPUs (MSM8974-AA) with Adreno 330 @ 450MHz GPU.
The Password has 3GB LPDDR3 @800MHz RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage, and also Hot-swappable MicroSD slot (up to 64GB).
It sports 4.5-Inch LCD display (1440 x 1440 pixels resolution) with 453 DPI, 24-bit color depth, 1:1 aspect ratio, RGB pixel arrangement, In-cell touch panel, 10-point multi-touch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
BlackBerry Passport houses 13MP Auto-Focus rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 5-element f2.0 lens, Back Side Illumination, LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording at 60fps, 6DOF video stabilization, 5x digital zoom, Continuous & touch to focus and image stabilization.
Password is also carrying 2MP front facing camera with Image & video stabilization, 3x digital zoom and 720p HD video recording. 3.5mm Audio jack, NFC, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, HDMI, VGA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, DisplayPort 1.1, DisplayPort 1.2, DVI, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast, DLNA and 4G Mobile Hotspot are main connectivity options.
BlackBerry Passport boasts 3450mAH integrated non-removable battery. It supports FD-LTE and HSPA+ networks. The handset comes with nan0-SIM support and also has Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Gyroscope, Time of Flight (ToF) and Ambient light sensors.
