Archos has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Archos 55 Helium Plus. The phone has been announced in France with a price of $139. It will be available from July 2015.
The Archos 55 Helium Plus is powered by a Quad-Core 1GHz Cortex A53 (64-Bit MediaTek MT6735P chipset) processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5.5-inch HD IPS touchscreen display with 1280×720 pixels of resolution. The built-in 8GB storage is further expandable via up to 64 GB MicroSD card.
The Archos 55 Helium Plus smartphone houses a 13-megapixel BSI auto-focus rear camera and boasts a 5 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM (4G LTE + 4G) with dual standby functionality.
