Archos 50C Helium 4G – 5-inch Smartphone with 4G LTE and Quad-Core SoC

Archos has unveiled a new smartphone, the 50C Helium 4G. Till now, it is not available in the market, and there are no pricing details available.

Along with 4G LTE connectivity, the Archos 50C Helium 4G features 5-inch IPS display and 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and MediaTek MK6732M chipset with Mali 760 MP2 GPU.

According to the company, the 50C Helium 4G runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and supports a dual-micro-SIM card with dual standby functionality. It has 1GB of RAM and also comes with 8GB of internal storage with an expansion slot (up to 64 GB). The smartphone houses a 5-megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and a VGA front-facing camera for video chatting.

Backed by a 2500mAh Li-poly non-removable battery, the Archos 50C Helium 4G includes connectivity options FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth V4, Bluetooth Smart Ready, micro-USB v2, Mobile hotspot, GPS, A-GPS, 3G, and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 146 x 73.5 x 9.1 mm, and weight is 180 gms.

Recently, Archos 80 Cesium launched in the market for £129. It features an 8-inch IPS HD (1280×800 pixels) touchscreen display, quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G Bay Trail processor, 1GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
