Walton may soon release a new tablet, dubbed Walpad G. It is listed on the company website of Bangladesh without the price tag and its availability details.
The Walton Walpad G runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out of the box powered by a Quad-Core 1.3 GHz processor. The CPU is further coupled with Arm Mali 400 MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. It supports a single SIM slot and features a 3G HSPA+ network. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, but no word about its expand-ability.
The Walpad G features an 8-Inches OGS IPS touch screen with WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution, 16.7M color depth, and 441PPI. The screen supports Full Capacitive touch up to 5 fingers and a Corning Gorilla Glass screen protector. It houses a 3.2 MP Auto Focus rear-facing camera and also boasts a 1.3 MP front-facing camera.
A 4000 mAh Li-ion Polymer battery backs the Walton Walpad G. In terms of connectivity options, the tablet includes; Bluetooth BT 4.0 LE, micro-USB v2.0, OTG, Audio Jack 3.5 mm, Wireless Display Sharing, Wifi b/g/n, FM Radio with recording, and GPS with A-GPS. It has Accelerometer (3D), Light and Proximity sensors too. With a weight of 350 grams, the slate measures 213 x 123.5 x 7.8 mm in dimensions.
