It looks like Samsung is gearing up for two new mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. Galaxy J7 and Dual sim Galaxy J5 have already received Bluetooth certification last month.
The Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 come with similar specifications. Both feature a 5-inch screen with a 720p TFT resolution. The Galaxy J5 with be 8.5mm in thickness while J7 is thinner by 0.6mm, making J7 thickness 7.9mm.
An octa-core processor will power the Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 with 1 GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. It will run the latest Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS out of the box, along with the 4G LTE connectivity. The smartphone is also equipped with an 8MP rear snapper and a 5MP front camera. Both these have been spotted with a China Mobile logo at back basis, which means it will soon be launched in China.
It is expected that J5 and J7 will be numbered as Galaxy J5 SM-J5008 and Galaxy J7 SM-J5008 in China.
