Gionee Elife S5.1 is on sale in India starting 10 Nov 2014 for Rs 19499 before the official announcement. Now, the company has made it official for India with a tag price of Rs 18999 and will go for sale starting the first week of December 2014.
This smartphone is just 5.1 mm thin and has got a magnesium alloy frame. It comes in White, Black, Blue and Pink colors. It features a 4.8 inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The handset is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Amigo 2.0 UI on top. It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with 88 degree wide angles on the front. It comes with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The phone’s connectivity options are 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, and GPS. It is packed with a 2100 mAh battery.
