On 30 May in Taiwan, Acer has announced its new smartphone, Liquid E700. However, there is no word about price. Along with Liquid E700, the company has announced Liquid E600, Liquid Z200, Liquid X1, and Liquid Jade smartphones and Iconia Tab 8 tablet. All these devices are scheduled to launch in Q3 2014 and run Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
According to Acer, the new Acer Liquid E700 smartphone is aimed at globetrotters who require a powerful battery life (3500mAh non-removable battery) to keep up with their busy lifestyles. The Acer Liquid E700 delivers 60 days of standby, 12 hours of video playback, 100 of music, or 24 hours of talk time, allowing users to stay connected to friends, family, and the latest entertainment for long periods of time.
The Liquid E700 sports a 5-inch HD screen with IPS wide-viewing technology and Zero Air Gap, which delivers clear and consistent images from viewing angles of up to 178 degrees. It has a 720×1280 pixels resolution. Come rain or shine, direct bonding Zero Air Gap technology also creates brighter images and sharper text in normal conditions and provides improved readability in bright sunlight. The phone’s front-speaker is built with DTS Studio Sound technology, allowing a wider sound field in music and video and clearer vocals when used hands-free.
The Acer Liquid E700 is a tri-SIM (3 SIMs) and quad-band 3G (GSM+GSM+GSM) phone. It boasts a 1.2GHz Quad-core processor, alongside MediaTek MT6582 chipset and 2 GB of RAM. The Liquid E700 built with 16 GB ROM, the ROM – internal storage can be upgraded with an external MicroSD card up to 32 GB.
The handset houses an 8-megapixel rear flash supported camera, taking stunning photographs; alongside a 2 MP frontal camera is made for selfies and video calling.
