At the event of CES 2015, ZTE has announced zPad. Some specs and pricing details are still hidden.
The new tablet, ZTE zPad will be available in Grey and Black variant colors. It will be launched first in China and then after the rest of the country. The handset sports an 8-inch IPS LCD with 1280 × 800 pixels of resolution and 4G LTE features.
A 1.2GHz quad-core processor powers the zPad, and might be running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS (Unofficial). It has 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB internal storage that is further expandable with up to 64 GB micro-SD card.
The ZTE zPad houses a 5-megapixel rear shooter and boasts a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video chatting. It packs a huge 4000mAh Li-ion battery. The connectivity options include FM Radio, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, WLAN, Bluetooth V4.0, micro-USB V2.0, Mobile hotspot, GPS, and A-GPS. At 7.9mm thickness, its weight is 320 gms.
