Except Nubia series smartphones, Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE is known for low tier segments. The latest addition to ZTE’s portfolio of Android smartphones is the Q519T, which is sequel to its older brother Q509T.
The ZTE Q519T is a low-end smartphone but comes with more than decent features for its price. Speaking of which, the Q519T will be available for just $95 (€87) outright. It has only been launched in China where customers can choose from three color options : Blue, Gold and White.
The ZTE Q519T runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system out of the box. Another highlight of the device is that it packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery inside, which should provide up to 35 days in standby mode. It’s also worth mentioning that the smartphone comes with three power-saving modes and features OTG reverse charging.
Currently, ZTE Q519T will be available in China, the dual-SIM handset might be released outside China soon. The smartphone is equipped with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor, a Mali T720MP1 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM.
The 8GB of internal memory of Q519T is further expandable with up to 32GB via microSD card slot. On camera specs, it has a 5-megapixel at rear with Sapphire Lens, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, while in the front there’s a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls / selfies.
ZTE Q519T features a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution, but there’s no Corning Gorilla Glass coating since this is a budget-friendly phone. Other connectivity options include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack.
