ZTE – the international manufacture of the data card, MF112, has got listed online in India with a small amount of Rs 1000 at shopclues; however, the tag price is Rs 2,299.
The MF112 is a 3G dongle, features 7.2 Mbps maximum download speed in HSDPA, or can upload a file up to 2 Mbps. The ZTE’s MF112 is a next-generation dongle that gives you fast broadband speeds with no wires or hassles. Just plug it into the USB port on your laptop or computer, enter your data sim provider’s APN settings and connect to the internet. The user-friendly connection manager is also easy to use, and it lets you send and receive text messages while you’re online.
The MF112 modem is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows (2000, XP, Vista, 7) and Mac OS (10.4, 10.5, 10.6).
The MF112 also boasts a Micro SD card slot, which can be upgraded up to 4GB via an external microSD card. It supports HSDPA/UMTS 850/1900/2100 Mhz and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/01900 Mhz operating frequency bands.
