Cricket Wireless of USA and ZTE has announced the launch of another without contract phablet, the ZTE Grand X Max. It is priced at $199.99 will be available in Cricket stores nationwide and online starting October 10th.
The ZTE Grand X Max comes equipped with a 6-inch 720p high definition screen and a 1.2Ghz quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon) processor. The phablet comes pre-loaded with Peel Smart Remote, the ultimate entertainment companion that personalizes TV recommendations based on viewing habits and can be paired with your home entertainment system or mobile device.
In addition, users will have access to other useful apps like Kindle, Evernote and Kingsoft Office, along with many more in the Google Play Store.
The ZTE Grand X Max is powered by a 3,200 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0 for less time charging and more time doing. The company says, battery will last in 6.5 hours of 3G talk time or 860 hours of stand-by. In terms of connectivity, the phone also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
It comes with 8 GB internal storage and additional memory up to 32 GB via microSD is also possible. It houses an 8 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and HD video, while there is a 1MP front facing camera for selfies and video chat fixed.
The new smartphone, Grand X Max is running on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 operating system with 1GB of RAM. It is 7.8mm thin and weighs 171 grams. Cricket is offering a $100 bill credit if you switch from T-Mobile or MetroPCS between now and October 19th.
