ZTE has launched a middle range smartphone, dubbed as Grand X Plus Z826. It goes for sale in Canada with various contract plans through Fido.
Available in Black color, the ZTE Grand X Plus Z826 features 4G LTE connectivity that can download a file with up to 100Mbps speed. The phone sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS touch display and boasts a 1.2 GHz quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926) processor. There is no word about GPU, but it has 2GB RAM.
The Grand X Plus Z826 runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS has a single-SIM slot. It also has 8GB built-in storage that is further expandable through an expansion slot (up to 32 GB memory card). The device houses an 8-megapixel 1080p rear-facing shooter with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front camera on-board for selfie and video chatting.
The ZTE Grand X Plus Z826 is fueled by a 2300 mAh battery rated for up to 8 hrs of talk-time and can provide up to 12.5 days of backup. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, micro-USB (Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0), Mobile hotspot, GPS, and 3G. It measures 144.6 x 73.9 x 9.6 mm, along with 150 gms weight.
This month firm has launched ZTE Speed in the US for $99.99. It comes with 4G LTE, 4.5-inch LCD, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, and 5-megapixel rear camera.
