ZTE Blade S6 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core (MSM8939) in China

ZTE has unveiled a new smartphone, dubbed as Blade S6. Priced at $249.99, the handset will initially go on sale in China on February 10th, and on February 27th, it will be available with global shipping on AliExpress.com.

ZTE Blade S6 features 4G LTE bands B3/B7/B8/B28(B20) (1800/2600/900/700(800)) and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset (MSM8939) that runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZTE’s MiFavor 3.0 UI as the main highlight. It will be available in silver and matte pink variant colors.

The Blade S6 sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS LCD touch display and boasts an Adreno 405 GPU, alongside 2GB of RAM. It supports dual SIM (4G LTE+GSM) with dual standby, and both are dual nano.

The ZTE Blade S6 comes with 16 GB of internal storage that is further expandable (up to 32 GB MicroSD card). It houses a 13-megapixel Sony IMX214 sensor at the rear with LED flash and also boasts a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Blade S6 packs a 2,400mAh Li-ion battery. The connectivity options include FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, dual-band WiFi, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB v2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS, AGPS, and Hi-Fi Sound with a dedicated audio processor. It has additional features like the AliveShare app and smart gestures.

The ZTE Blade S6 measures 144 x 70.7 x 7.7 mm (5.67 x 2.78 x 0.30 in); has sensors, accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, and compass.
