ZTE has listed its new 3G HSDPA USB Modem on the India website, ZTE AW3632. Notably, the manufacture has been tagged any price on his website. However, e-commerce websites have fixed an amount of Rs 2000, but the ZTE AW3632 data card is out of stock.
The ZTE AW3632 3G HSDPA USB dongle comes in USB form, but actually, it is a Wi-Fi hotspot and can share the internet with up to 5 devices with its inbuilt WiFi, like the Huawei E355 data card.
The ZTE AW3632 supports HSPA, can deliver 14.4 Mbps highest download speed in the HSDPA network, or can upload a file up to 5.76 in HSUPA.
The AW3632 supports 3G or 2G, 6 Pin 3GPP 31.101, 3GPP 31.102 SIM. The modem supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS 10.4 or higher, and Linux Operating System. It supports WCDMA/HSDPA 900/1900/2100MHz 3G bands.
The ZTE AW3632 data-card comes with an LED indicator but lacks a MicroSD card slot. The LED indicator shows the status of your dongle; Blue Light – Wi-Fi automatically turned on once the USB connector working (Turn on for 2.5 sec, Turn off for 0.5 sec), Blue Light – Wi-Fi terminal accessed (Light long time), Red Light – Network not registered (Blinks 2 sec a Time), Green – Registered on Network (Blinks 1 sec a Time), Green – Dial Success (Lights Long Time).
The AW3632 modem comes with a strong internal antenna, but it lacks call features. However, the device supports SMS and Phonebook features.
It is easy to use. Just plug the ZTE AW3632 dongle into the PC, and it will auto-install the drivers. It comes in Hilink form, and the internet can be connected through Web UI instead of Connection Manager.
Measuring the AW3632, its dimension is 83 x 26 x 9.5mm, weighs 30 gm.
