After a break Xolo has launched its first Lollipop-based smartphone in India, dubbed as Xolo Prime.

The Xolo Prime is a dual-SIM phone, that is powered by a Mediatek’s MTK 6582M chipset, coupled with 1.3 GHz Quad Core CPU and 1GB of RAM. Under 136 x 68 x 9.5 mm dimensions, it packs a Mali 400 MP Graphic core. It also features a 4.5-inch IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels of resolution and 218 PPI pixels density.

The Prime is running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with Auto Focus and Flash. The primary camera features Scene detection & tuning, Face recognition , Panaroma, Face beauty, Geo tagging, best shot, Smile shot and HDR. It also sports a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity options, the Xolo Prime include 3G, microUSB v2.0, Bluetooth BT 4.0, WiFi, 802.11 b/g/n, FM Radio, 3.5mm sound jack and WLAN. It has 8GB internal storage and also supports up to 32GB of microSD card. It further includes Accelerometer, Ambient light and Proximity sensors.

It boasts an 1800 mAh Li-ion battery, that is rated for up to 400 hours standby and up to 20.8 hours of talk-time in 3G connectivity. It comes colored glass finish back. If your estimate is under Rs. 6000, then you must go with Xolo Prime.
