Xolo has launched another smartphone in India, the Play 8X-1100, which is available for Rs 14,999.
Xolo has already launched Q700s Plus and the Q1000s Plus this week, and today again, the company has come with Play 8X-1100. The company says that the Play 8X-1100 is made for mobile gaming enthusiasts and is available in authorized retail outlets across India. Notably, the smartphone is not listed till now officially on its website.
The Play 8X-1100 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and a 700MHz Mali 450 GPU.
Xolo Play 8X-1100 comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage, further expandable via MicroSD card (up to 32 GB). It houses a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is powered by a Sony Exmor RS sensor and coupled with an LED flash. There is also a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI Sensor and an 88-degree wide view angle available onboard for video calling and selfie.
In terms of connectivity options, the Xolo Play 8X-1100 includes; 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, OTG, NFC, and Bluetooth. The phone packs a 2100mAh battery and is available in the White color variant.
