Xolo has launched a new budget smartphone, the Opus HD, and the same is listed on India’s company website with a price of Rs 9499.
The Xolo Opus HD is built with Broadcom BCM23550 chipset and powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM, clubbed with Videocore IV @ 312 MHz GPU. It comes with 8GB of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card.
The Xolo Opus HD sports a 12.7 cm (4.99-inches) HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display. The handset includes; 3G, USB v2.0, Bluetooth BT 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm ear-jack, FM Radio, Wi-Fi hotspot in terms of connectivity options, and WiFi. It is running on Android v4.4.2 KitKat OS.
The smartphone houses an 8MP rear-facing camera that features Scene detection & tuning, Panorama, Geo-tagging, and Face Detection. There is also a 2MP front-facing camera is available for selfies and also supports operator video calling.
The Xolo Opus HD is backed by a 2500mAH battery rated for 3G talk-time up to 9 hrs and standby time up to 500 hrs. Its dimensions are 143 x 71 x 7.9 mm, but no word about its weight. It supports Dual SIM with Dual standby functionality.
