Xolo has launched a new PocketPad in India with a tag price of Rs 14,999, named Q2500. In contrast, the manufactures another product Play Tegra Note Tablet and Xolo Q900T Smartphone is available in the official store for Rs 17,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
The Q2500 Pocketpad has a premium large design yet just 8.5 mm thickness, perfect for watching full HD movies & videos, playing HD games & e-reading. Keeping in mind to focus multimedia, the manufacturer has fitted a houseful 3000mAH battery to provide 15 hrs talk time in the 3G network, alongside 40 hrs talk time is possible on 2G.
Boasts with a 15.24 cm (6.0) HD IPS display, 1280 x 720 resolution, and 245 PPI, the device is 5 fingers supported.
Xolo Q2500 pocket pad equipped with a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor, fitted with MTK 6582 chipset, coupled with a 1 GB RAM that gives you the freedom to enjoy true multitasking, access apps & games with zooming speed.
The pocket pad boasts 500 MHz Mali 400 MP2 Dual GPU cores, with a fast Clock speed of 500 MHz, which leads to advanced graphics performance that enables a visually rich & ultra-realistic experience.
Q2500 has an 8 MP auto flash with the autofocus camera, clubbed with a BSI sensor, to capture fantastic low-light images & provides bright, clear, and crisp camera pictures, alongside a 2MP frontal camera able to selfies. Connecting the USB pen drive to provide extra memory to the phone, charging other phones & exchange files with other phones via a free OTG cable is also possible.
Measuring 168 x 83 x 8.5 mm, the phablet weight has not been specified by the Xolo. It comes with two hard keys, a Power key, and a volume key. It features 3G and dual sim with dual standby. GSM 900/1800 and WCDMA 2100 network bands are supported. The device can download a file in the HSPA+ network with a maximum of 21 Mbps speed, whereas the upload speed limit is only 5.76 Mbps.
The Q2500 currently runs on Android Jelly 4.2.2 OS, upgradable to Kitkat 4.4 as per the official website. The device sports a 4GB ROM, upgradeable up to 32 GB using an external microSD card. With so much higher specs, the phone has been priced in India at only Rs 14,999. In my reviews, its rate is very reasonable, and it is a recommended product.
