Xolo A1000s was launched in India with a price of Rs 7,799. The company has unveiled Xolo A1000s Lite, which comes with lower specs and is available online through the e-commerce online website snapdeal for Rs 5,740.
The Xolo A1000s Lite supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality and is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core MTK6572M processor that runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with 512MB of RAM. Notably, the smartphone is not listed on the company website yet. It boasts an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensors.
The A1000s Lite features a 5-inch touchscreen display (480 x 854 pixels / 196 PPI), houses a 5-megapixel rear snapper, and boasts a VGA front-facing camera for video chatting. The device includes GPRS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, GPS, FM radio, and Bluetooth in terms of connectivity options.
The Xolo A1000s Lite is equipped with 4GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. It measures 128 x 63 x 8.98 mm, but no word about its weight. It packs a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery, which is, according to the retailer, rated for up to 29 Hours (2G) / up to 13 Hours (3G) of talk-time and up to 650 Hours (2G) / up to 590 hours of standby time.
