Xiaomi – the Apple of China, has also confirmed its flagship smartphone Redmi Note, which is listed in the Indian Official with a tag price of Rs 9999. Earlier the Xiaomi has launched Mi 3 in India, and Redmi 1S, which is also known as Xiaomi Redmi 1S, will be available in India with a tag price of Rs 6999.
According to the company, the Xiaomi Redmi Note is powered by a MediaTek MT6592 Octa-Core processor with Cortex-A7, which is clocked at 1.7GHz. According to Xiaomi, it is 78% faster than Quad-core MT6589T. The Redmi Note processor is coupled with ARM Mali-450 GPU, which is 1.4x faster than Mali-400 graphics core, and a 2 GB of RAM.
The Redmi Note Phablet sports a big 5.5-inch multi-touch screen HD IPS display (1280×720 pixels resolution), features 178° in-plane switching (IPS) technology, and Glass-film-film (GFF) architecture.
It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Operating system out-of-the-box, which is optimized with MIUI version 5.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note houses a 13 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 Mega-Pixel frontal camera on-board for selfies and video calling. The camera is featured with a 28-millimeter wide-angle lens and ƒ/2.2 aperture. It also supports LED, White Balance, Focus mode, Focus area, Scene mode, Zero shutter lag, face recognition, high dynamic range (HDR), real-time filters, and 8 frames per second.
The Redmi Note is packed with 8 GB internal flash memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB via an external memory card.
The dual SIM (Dual Standby / WCDMA+GSM) smartphone is backed by a 3100 mAh lithium-polymer battery, rated for 14 hours 3G internet usage, 38 hours 2G internet use, 60 hours music playback, or 775 hours standby time.
WiFi, Wi-Fi Direct, USB OTG, Bluetooth BT4.0LE +BT3.0HS, Ambient noise reduction mic, 2G GSM 900/1800/1900MHz, 3G WCDMA 900/2100MHz, GPS, A-GPS, and WLAN 802.11b/g/n are the main connectivity options in this Xiaomi Redmi Note.
