Xiaomi is preparing for a new upgraded model of its Redmi 1S, dubbed as Redmi 2S. The whole specifications of Xiaomi Redmi 2S were spotted on the GFXBench database and the TENAA listing.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2S will sport the same 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) size as the 1S. It will be powered by a 64-Bit 1.2GHz GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor and 4G LTE connectivity. It is expected to be available in Black and white with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple color.
The Redmi 2S dimensions are 134 × 67.21 × 9.2 mm and weigh 134 grams, but it has a single SIM slot. It will run Android v4.4.4 KitKat OS, will Adreno 306 GPU, and 1GB of RAM. An 8 MP rear camera will back the phone with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2S is expected to have 8 GB internal storage with an expandable slot (up to 64 GB of the memory card). It packs a 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery. The connectivity options include 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth v4.0. It supports G-sensor, gravity sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor.
