Xiaomi is preparing a new upgraded version of its last flagship Mi4, the Mi5 flagship claiming to be launching in November. Our source’s latest report claims that the most awaited phone of the Xiaomi is codenamed Libra and will sport a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The handset Mi5, Xiaomi will also feature favorite smartphone specs, which is a Fingerprint scanner. This is in line with a previous report that suggested that Xiaomi filed a patent and detailed the fingerprint recognition method via the handset’s buttons.
The Xiaomi Mi5 features a 5.7-inch quad-HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset quad-core processor, and paired with an Adreno 430 GPU. The device will also feature a fingerprint sensor but will be priced at only 1,999 Yuan (Roughly Rs 20,000).
Other details leaked about the Mi 5 smartphone include 4GB of RAM, apart from storage variants of 16 GB and 64 GB with expandable storage support. The rear camera is said to sport a 16-megapixel resolution, and the front camera a 6-megapixel resolution. A 3030mAh battery is likely to be back on the device. The handset is said to run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI version on top.
The device will be priced at only 1,999 Yuan (Roughly Rs 20,000).
