Xiaomi calls the special edition of Mi Note the Natural Bamboo Edition. This special edition smartphone is priced at RMB 2299 (Roughly US $370 or Rs 23,200).
The Xiaomi Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition cover adds 0.9mm to the device’s thickness but brings the overall weight down by 5 gms. Xiaomi mentions that each device will be individual in that each Mi Note bamboo edition will have a distinct wood grain pattern.
The internal hardware will remain the same as the standard version of the Mi Note. This means, in the purchase of Natural Bamboo Edition, you will get a 5.7-inch full-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB / 64GB internal memory, 13MP camera (Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor), 4MP front snapper, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, Hi-Fi audio and a 3,000mAh battery.
Notably, the Natural Bamboo edition of the Mi Note is the same as the standard 16GB edition. It has been priced at just 2,299 Yuan (Roughly Rs 23,200), and its first flash sale in China is slated for March 24th.
