Xiaomi launches its new devices in China first; then, it sells in the rest of the countries. It is the first time when Xiaomi has launched its new flagship smartphone Mi 4i in India first. It is priced at just Rs 12,999, and sales will begin on April 30.

Xiaomi Mi 4iThe Xiaomi Mi 4i sports a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution / 441ppi pixels of density) OGS Sharp/JDI IPS display, fully laminated. The display features a 178-degree wide-viewing angle and NTSC 95% ultra-high color gamut. The phone also comes with sunlight display technology, which improves screen readability using hardware-level technology to adjust contrast for each pixel in real-time.

The Xiaomi Mi4i comes with a unibody design made with polycarbonate. It is only 7.8 mm thick and weighs 130 grams. For better grip, the company has provided a soft-touch matte finish with an anti-grease coating. It is powered by an octa-core (1.7 GHz x 4 + 1.1 GHz x 4) 2nd Gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor. The firm also claims that the new processor is designed in India by Qualcomm.

The Mi 4i is equipped with 2GB of RAM, and the 16 GB internal storage is not expandable. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6 on top. The 13-megapixel shooter is fixed at the rear with dual two-tone LED flash and f/2.0 sensor size five-element lens in terms of camera specs. It also has the capability to record 4K videos. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera is available with an f/1.8 aperture along with 36 beauty profiles to smoothen skin, brighten eyes, and much more.

The connectivity options include in Xiaomi Mi4i as 4G LTE / 3G HSPA, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.5 & 5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS and USB OTG. It is backed by a 3,120 mAh battery, which will last up to 1.5 days of moderate usage. It supports dual-SIM with dual standby, while both slots can be upgraded with 4G LTE SIMs.

The Xiaomi Mi 4i comes in black, white, orange, light blue, and pink variant colors, with a price of Rs 12,999. The first flash sale is on April 30, for which the registrations start at 8 PM today on Flipkart.
