Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 4 is available in China in two storage variant, 16GB model is priced at CNY 1999 (Rs 19,400), while the 64GB model is priced at CNY 2499 (Rs 24,200). The China Unicom version of the handset has been set a July release date. Xiaomi will launch a 4G-enabled handset of the Mi 4 in September that will be available outside China, including India.
Upgraded version of Xiaomi Mi 3, th e Mi4 sports 5-inch full-HD display (1080×1920 pixels) with JDI OGS full lamination. It houses a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also, both sporting Sony’s stacked CMOS sensors. The device features a stainless steel metal frame which passes through “40 processes and 193 steps”.
The smartphone is backed by a 3080mAh Li-ion battery. It is expected to be running on MIUI 6, which is modified version Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
The Mi 4 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with quad-core processor, which is clocked at 2.5GHz frequency, and coupled with 3G RAM.
Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Headphones 3.5mm, Micro-USB, GSM are 3G are connectivity specs of this Xiaomi Mi4 smartphone. It has also Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensors.
