Xiaomi has already launched Redmi 1S in India with a tag price of Rs 5999. After they headed to Indonesia with a price of IDR 1.5 million, now, it is launching in the Philippines too with a tag price of P5,599.
The smartphone will be sold in the Philippines via Lazada eCommerce online website and will go on sale on September 4; it is the same day Redmi 1S will be released in Indonesia.
4.7-inch HD 1280x720p IPS touchscreen display, 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor and Android 4.3-based MIUI v5, 8MP rear camera, 1.6 MegaPixel front shooter, and 2000 mAh battery are the main highlights of the Redmi 1S.
In addition to the above specs, Xiaomi Redmi 1S includes dual-SIM support, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, MicroSD card slot (up to 64 GB), 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS too.
4G LTE version of Xiaomi Redmi 1S is already on sale in China with a tag price of CNY 699 only.
