All of you are aware of the Metro user interface of Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, which is continued in Windows 10 too. But, it is not available in Windows 7 / XP / Vista. If you are still running an older version of Microsoft Windows and want the awesome Metro UI of Windows 8, you can go for WinMetro, which works with Windows XP / Vista and Windows 7.

Although Microsoft has already announced that a free upgrade will be available for Windows users to Windows 10, after the final release, WinMetro is a free and beneficial software for Windows 7 to bring Windows 8 like start screen.

If you want WinMetro on your PC, then download IObit WinMetro (link is provided at the end of the article) to your PC and install the tool. It will bring Advanced System Care also to your computer as a bundled software. However, you will get a notification to install Advanced System Care after completing this current installation. If you don’t need Advanced System Care, then make sure to remove the tick and skipped its installation.

Just after completing the installation, you will see your new start screen. At the same time, a Windows 8.1 like Start Menu button will be pinned to your Taskbar. You can use this button to get the new start screen or click on your screen’s bottom-left section to get the same.

If you want to want to get the Win+I menu on Windows 7, WinMetro can also do that for you. Just press the Win+I together after installing WinMetro. You can also get Windows 8 like Search option by pressing Win+S together.
