Wiko Birdy can be now purchased with a price 129.90 euro in selected countries of Africa, Asia, Europe and Middle East.
The new Wiko Birdy 4G is listed on the company website with a tag line “the spirit of freedom”. It is a 4G LTE handset and according to the company it can download a file with up to 150Mbit / s in HSDPA, while 50 Mbit / s upload speed is supported in HSUPA network. It is running on the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS which is powered by a Quad Core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Wiko Birdy is equipped with 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable with up to 32GB of microSD card. It would be available in Black, White, bleen, Fuchsia, Coral, Purple and Yellow variant colours with a dimensions of 132 * 67 * 9.6mm. It weighs 141 gms with 2000 mAh battery, that is according to the company can provide up to 10.55h (3G) / up 18.26 (2G) talk-time or up to 186hrs standby time.
The Wiko Birdy boasts a 4.5-inches IPS capacitive touch screen display with 16 million color depth and a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels. In terms of connectivity options, the Birdy include; WI-FI 802.11 a / b / g / n, USB, GPS with A-GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, OTG, and 3.5mm jack.
The smartphone houses a 5 megapixel main camera with flash that features Face detect, Face beauty, Smile shot, HDR, Panorama and Burst Mode. It also comes with 2 megapixels frontal camera with auto-focus for selfies.
