WiiO has launched a new smartphone in India, dubbed as WI-Star 3G. It is available for Rs. 3,999 through eBay online retailer.
As the name suggests of WiiO WI-Star 3G is a 3G phone and supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality. This device’s main highlight is it boasts a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Dual Core MT6572 processor with 512 MB of RAM.
The WI-Star 3G runs Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) OS and has 4GB expandable internal storage (up to 32 GB MicroSD card). It houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling.
The WI-Star 3G is backed by a 2000 mAh Li-ion battery rated for up to 8 hrs of talk-time and up to 120 hrs standby. The connectivity options include FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 LE, micro-USB V2.0, mobile hotspot, and GPS. It measures 145.5 x 77.5 x 9.8 mm at 164 gms weight.
