Wickedleak, the manufacture of smartphones, launched a Wammy Neo 5’0 HD Android phone with 4.2 Octa-Core in India, with a tag price of Rs 11,990.

According to the official website, the phone will be shipped from June 15. The company is also shooting a line “Aqua Protect Water Resistant Technology (Optional).”
The Wammy Neo bar-style phone sports a 5.0-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 16000K colors and 1280 x 720 pixels HD screen resolution. It comes with a Dragon Tail screen.
The Wammy Neo boasts an Octa-Core processor with a Mediatek MT6592 chipset, clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450 GPU. The phone runs on android jelly beans 4.2.2 OS out-of-the-box (can be upgraded with KitKat 4.4) with the help of 2GB RAM. It featured with 8GB ROM; the internal storage can be upgraded with an external MicroSD card up to 32 GB.
Whammy Neo houses a 13.0 MP rear camera, alongside a 5.0 MP front camera that takes HD selfies and is useful for video calling. Both cameras featured flashlight and autofocus.
The handset came with a dual SIM card slot and featured with dual standby. GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and WCDMA 850/2100MHz bands are supported. The smartphone is available in black and white color variants.
The phone features an FM radio, but to listen to the radio, you need to connect earphones with the help of a 3.5mm headphone jack.
USB, Bluetooth 2.1, WAP, WIFI 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, WiFi direct are available on the cellphone. The device is multi-language supported: English, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Deutsch, Espanol, French, Italiano, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Turkish, Russian, Bengali, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, India Urdu, Thai, Simplified/Traditional Chinese.
The Wammy Neo features A-GPS, GPS with EPO, alongside gravity and magnetic sensors. It is powered by a 2200mAh Li-Ion battery, which supports 5-6 days standby time, with no word about talk-time.
