Walton has unveiled a new tablet, the Walpad 8X. It is listed on the company website without a price tag and its availability details.
The Walton Walpad 8X runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor with Mali 450 MP GPU. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. The handset measures 200 x 135 x 7.9 mm and weighs 355 gm (with battery).
The Walpad 8X has an accelerometer (3D), light sensor, and proximity sensors. It sports an 8-inches QXGA (2048 x 1536 pixels) full capacitive touchscreen display with OGS Retina, Corning Gorilla Glass, and 16.7M color depth. It houses a 5-megapixels rear-facing camera with autofocus, and also, there is a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
The connectivity options include Walton Walpad 8X; GPS with A-GPS, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth BT 4.0 with A2DP, MicroUSB v2.0, OTG, 3G, single SIM, 3G, and Wireless display sharing. It is backed by a Li-ion battery of 5000 mAh capacity.
