Vodafone has listed a new “Smart 4 mini” Smartphone. According to the official website, “Vodafone Smart 4 mini is our first 2014 addition to the Smart Family and is our affordable 4’’ entry smartphone choice with no compromise on performance. With access to more than 1 million apps available on the Google Play Store, the true benefits of the mobile internet can be discovered next to trying out pre-installed services like navigation or voice search.”
The Smart 4 mini sports a 4.0″ WVGA TFT 480 x 800 pixels display. Measuring 121.6×64.4×12.3mm, it weighs is 117g with a battery.
The phone is built of MTK 6572, Dual-core processor, clocked at 1.3GHz, alongside 512MB RAM. The Smart 4 mini boasts a 4 GB internal memory (ROM), upgradeable up to 32 GB via an external microSD card.
Running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, the handset boasts a 3.2 MP camera with fixed focus. Houses a powerful 1400 mAh battery, the device comes in two variants of black and white, with an optional yellow and pink accessory pack.
The Smart 4 mini supports only GSM / EDGE / HSPA networks, which means there is no 4G LTE available in the phone. Wifi 802.11b/g/n, A-GPS, BT4.0 A2DP connectivity options are available.
The new Smart 4 Mini seems to be manufactured by TCT (owner of Alcatel’s mobile brand).
