Chinese smartphone manufacture – Vivo has officially unveiled its new smartphone dubbed as Vivo X5M. Till now, there is no word about its pricing and availability out of China.
The Vivo X5M features a 5-inch IPS LCD with HD 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The device is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 octa-core processor and coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 16GB internal storage can be expanded with up to 64GB of microSD card.
The Vivo X5M houses a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both front and rear-facing cameras use CMOS image sensors. The smartphone includes 4G LTE, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz) in terms of connectivity options.
Vivo X5M supports TD-LTE 2600(B38)/2500(B41)/2300(B40)/1900(B39) MHz, TD-SCDMA 2000(B34)/1900(B39) MHz, and GSM 1900/1800/900/850 MHz frequency bands. It also supports dual-SIM with dual standby functionality.
The X5M runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS out of the box backed by a 2,300mAh battery.
