Videocon has launched a new tablet in India, dubbed VA-78. It can be purchased online in India with the lowest price of Rs 5250.
The latest tablet, Videocon VA-78, runs out-date Android 4.2.2 (Jelly bean) OS out of the box. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Dual-Core (Cortex A7) processor, along with a Mali-400 GPU and 512 MB of RAM. It also comes with 4Gb of internal storage, further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards.
The VA-78 has G-Sensor and boasts a 2 Megapixel rear-facing camera, opposite side VGA front-facing camera for video calling through Skype. In terms of connectivity options, the tab includes Audio Jack 3.5 mm, EDGE, Bluetooth V2.1, 2G, 3G via dongle, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB v2.0, and HDMI.
The Videocon VA-78 features a 7-inch (1024X600 pixels) Capacitive Multi-Touch display. According to the online listing, it is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which is rated for 5 hours of standby time. The handset measures 18.9X10.9X1 cm and weighs 150 gms.
