Videocon has unveiled a new smartphone in India, dubbed as Infinium Z51 Nova. The company says that “the first 5″ smartphone to be designed, developed & manufactured in India by an Indian brand.”
The Videocon Infinium Z51 Nova sports a 5-inch FWVGA IPS touchscreen display with 480*854 pixels resolution. It is powered by Android 4.4.2 (Kit Kat) OS, comes in Black & Blue variant colors. The company has not revealed the pricing and its availability details yet.
The Infinium Z51 Nova houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and also boasts a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The primary camera features Auto Focus, LED Flash, Face Detection, Geo Tagging, and Panorama Shot. A 2000mAh battery also backs it.
Equipped with 1GB of RAM, the Videocon Infinium Z51 Nova also comes with 8GB built-in storage that is further expandable with up to 32 GB of MicroSD cards. It packs a 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor. The connectivity options include Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR, Micro USB, Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g/n, GPS-AGPS, 3G, Dual SIM with dual standby, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm jack.
