Update HTC One (M8) with Android 4.4.3 to get 4G LTE support in India

HTC has released a firmware update for its flagship smartphone HTC One (M8). The handset was released with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, and now the same can be upgraded with Android 4.4.3 KitKat. After updating the device with the new firmware (software), your device will start supporting 4G LTE of the Indian network. The firmware update is available via OTA (over the air).

Update HTC One (M8) with Android 4.4.3If, till now, you have not been notified by HTC, then you can manually check the firmware update via Settings > About Phone > Software update. The newly released software version is 2.10.720.1.

As you can see in the image, the update is around 659 MB in size. The update does not only bring 4G Lite as a surprise, but it also includes Android 4.4.3, OpenSSL security improvements (from Android 4.4.4), and optimizations for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks as well.

Moreover, this update will enhance the experience of inbuilt Gallery, Camera, Settings, Sync Manager, Sense UI, and more.
