But, a few days ago, Virgin Mobile Broadband has launched the E3131 Hi-Link modem, which is of customized firmware and cannot be unlocked simply with the help of an unlock code. You need first to flash the modem to use another network provider SIM. Virgin Mobile Broadband E3131 Huawei hi link modem comes with Firmware version 21.158.00.00.261 and which is customized. It does not accept the unlock code directly.
How to unlock Virgin Mobile Broadband E3131 Huawei New Algo Hi Link Modem?
- Download the unlocked firmware update file and card lock unlock tool from the download link provided at the end of the article.
- Now disconnect from the internet and close everything related to your modem.
- Now unzip the file and run the firmware update file.
- Now provide the flash code as a password and wait till you finish the process.
- After successfully finished the process, eject the Virgin Mobile Broadband E3131 Huawei New Algo Hi Link Modem Dongle modem from the PC and again insert it in the PC.
- Now, if the dashboard starts running the close it.
- Now run the card lock, unlock tools, and detect your modem.
- Now click on unlocking, and when it asks for a password, provide the unlock code as a password and click on OK.
Note: Don’t enter any wrong codes into your Virgin Mobile Broadband E3131 Huawei New Algo Hi Link Modem Dongle Datacard; otherwise, your Virgin Mobile Broadband E3131 Huawei New Algo Hi Link Modem Dongle will be locked permanently. You can purchase the unlock code from the server.
