Huawei has launched a new mobile WiFi router, calls it EC5377. It is a 4G LTE device, and you may get locked to a particular network. Since it will be locked to a particular network, you can not use any other network provider’s SIM card. You can purchase its submodel EC5377u-872 through China Telecom.
Once Huawei EC5377 is unlocked, you can use all supported SIM cards. This means there is no need to purchase a separate device to use another network SIM card.

How to Unlock Huawei EC5377 4G LTE Mobile WiFi Router?
1. Make sure the device is fully charged.
2. Connect to the PC using the USB cable of the device.
3. It will create a virtual CD-ROM on My Computer.
4. Open and install on your PC.
5. It will automatically open the default web page of the device and connect to the internet.
6. Now disconnect the internet and eject the device from the PC.
7. Switch off the EC5377.
8. Change the default SIM card with any other network provider.
9. Switch on the Huawei EC5377.
10. Again, connect to the PC with its default USB cable.
11. It will again open the default web page of the router.
12. Login to the device using admin/admin username and password.
13. It will redirect you to the SIMLock code; if not, then search option for SIMlock under Settings.
14. Enter the 8-digit correct SIMlock code and click on Apply.
15. Now, your device will be unlocked permanently.
16. Create a new profile according to the new SIM card and connect to the internet.
