How to unlock Huawei E398u-18 (E398 Tele2 Telenor Sweden) Modem?
1. Download Huawei E398u-18 (E398 Tele2 or Telenor Sweden) modem Unlocker software from the link provided at the end of the article.
2. Now disconnect the internet and change the default SIM with another network provider SIM (other than Tele2 network SIM in Huawei E398u-18 Tele2 dongle).
3. Now, connect the modem to a PC or laptop.
4. Now let it launch the software of the modem.
5. Now, close the modem software (Huawei Mobile Partner software of Tele2 Telenor brand).
6. Now run the downloaded Unlocker.
7. It will detect the E398u-18.
8. Now, put 8 digit unlock code in the “Unlock Code(6-8 digits):” box and click on the OK button.
9. Now your modem is unlocked forever.
Note: Don’t use any free/wrong codes on the Huawei E398u-18 Tele2 Telenor Sweden data card as it comes with Huawei’s new algorithm security. It cannot be unlocked with the old algorithm security unlock code. If you try with the wrong codes, then your modem will be locked permanently. You can purchase the unlock code from the server.
