How to Unlock Huawei E398u-11 and E398s-81 4G Data Card?

Recently, I had written about unlocking of Airtel Uganda E3131 3G 4G modem. Unlocking of Huawei E398 sub-models E398u-11 and E398s-81 is also possible. Furthermore, you can unlock Huawei E3131 (Hutchison Austria), and H3G Tre Italy locked E3131s-2 dongles. Huawei E398u-11 & E398s-81 data cards also come with un-customized firmware and can be unlocked easily.

How to unlock Huawei E398 (E398u-11 & Huawei E398s-81) Modem?

1. Download Huawei E398 (E398u-11 & Huawei E398s-81) dongle unlocker from the link provided at the end of the article.

2. Now disconnect the internet and change the default sim with another network provider SIM card.

3. Now, connect the modem to a PC or laptop.

4. Now let it launch the software of the modem.

5. Now, close the software of the modem.

6. Now run the downloaded Huawei E398 (E398u-11 & Huawei E398s-81) unlocking software.

7. Now, detect your Huawei E398 (E398u-11 & Huawei E398s-81) modem into the downloaded application.

8. Now put 8 digit unlock code in the “Unlock Code(6-8 digits):” box and click on the OK button.

9. Now your modem is unlocked forever.

10. Create a new profile according to the new SIM card.

11. Connect to the internet.

Note : Don’t use any free / wrong codes into Huawei E398 (E398u-11 & Huawei E398s-81) modem. You can purchase the unlock code from the server.
