Huawei E359 modem comes with uncustomised firmware and can be unlocked via unlock code and unlocking software only. We have already unlocked E359s-2, which was locked to the Globe Tattoo carrier of the Philippines.
If you are an owner of a Huawei E359 modem, then you can unlock it without flashing the firmware. You have only to follow some instructions, and you need a Huawei new Algo unlock code of your IMEI.
How to Unlock Huawei E359 Modem?
1. Download the Huawei E359 dongle unlocking software from the link provided at the end of the article.
2. Disconnect the internet and change the default SIM card with another network provider SIM (e.g., other than Vivacom SIM in Huawey E359 Vivacom modem).
3. Now, connect the modem to a PC or laptop.
4. Let it launch the software of the modem.
5. It will ask you for an unlock code / NCK. Just enter the unlock code, and your Huawei E359 modem is unlocked forever.
6. If your Huawei E359 data card does not prompt unlock code, close the modem software (Huawei Mobile Partner).
7. Run the downloaded Huawei E359 dongle unlocker.
8. Now, detect the E359 into the downloaded software.
9. Put 8 digit unlock code in the “Unlock Code(6-8 digits):” box and click on the OK button.
10. Now your modem is unlocked forever.
