Step by step guide to unlocking Huawei B970 3G WiFi / MiFi / Router / Gateway, Free instructions:
- Download the Huawei B970 3G WiFi / MiFi / Router / Gateway unlocking complete tools from the link provided at the end of the article.
- Now extract to a folder.
- Now disconnect and eject the SIM from the Huawei B970 router.
- Now Connect the power supply to the modem.
- Connect your B970 router with a PC with the help of a network cable.
- Now configure your PC ethernet card with static IP as:
IP Address: 192.168.1.20
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
- Now try to run in your browser address bar 192.168.1.1; if everything is right then, you will see your modem results.
- Now check in the folder for the files: Firmware file and WLATCPK11017_UPDATE_ALL.BIN
- Now close the browser and run “FmcUpdate.exe” from the folder.
- Let it finish the firmware process.
- Now run the Huawei modem code tool.
- Detect your modem COM port under the Huawei Modem Code Tool.
- Now put your unlock code in the Unlock Code box and click on send.
