Unlocking of MTN Uganda Huawei E303 modem is supported by unlock code. But, it comes with customized firmware, and there is a need to change the firmware of the dongle. Once the un-customized firmware is installed in the dongle, you can unlock it by code.
How to Unlock MTN Uganda Huawei E303 Modem?
1. Download the un-customized firmware from the link which is provided at the end of the post.
2. Connect the MTN Uganda Huawei E303 dongle to the PC with USB.
3. It will open the MTN branded software.
4. Close the software of MTN.
5. Run the firmware file; it will prompt for a password.
6. Enter the firmware code as a password.
7. Wait till finish.
Now it has un-customized firmware installed in your modem.
How to Unlock MTN Uganda Huawei E303 Modem?
1. Download the MTN Uganda Huawei E303 dongle unlocking software from the link provided at the end of the post.
2. Now disconnect the internet and change the default sim with another network provider sim (another than MTN network sim in MTN Uganda locked Huawei E303).
3. Now, connect the modem to a PC or laptop.
4. Let it launch the software of the modem.
5. It will prompt for unlock code / simlock code.
6. Enter the unlock code and click OK.
7. Now, your MTN Uganda Huawei E303 is unlocked forever.
In case it does not prompt for code,
8. Close the software of the modem (Huawei Mobile Partner software of MTN brand).
9. Run the downloaded MTN Uganda Huawei E303 unlocker software.
10. Detect the E303 Huawei into the downloaded software.
11. Input the 8-digit unlock code in the “Unlock Code(6-8 digits):” box and click the OK button.
12. Now your modem is unlocked forever.
Note: Don’t use any wrong codes into the MTN Uganda Huawei E303 dongle; otherwise, it will be locked permanently.
