Chinese flagship smartphone Umi Zero is now available for purchase for 213.99 USD through online retailer geekbuying.
The Umi Zero sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels of resolution. The display features Corning III Gorilla glass, FHD and IPS too. It is powered by a MT6592T Octa Core 2.0GHz processor with 2GB of RAM. It is further coupled with Arm Mali-450 MP4 GPU, that runs Android v4.4 (KitKat) OS out of the box.
Umi Zero supports dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM / TF Card) with dual standby functionality, but lacks of 4G LTE connectivity. It has 16GB of built-in storage that is further expandable with up to 64Gb of microSD card. The phone houses a 13-megapixel Sony rear camera and also houses an 8MP front shooter for selfie. The primary camera features Auto-Focus and LED Flashlight.
The Umi Zero is backed by a built-in Li-ion battery of 2780mAh capacity, that is rated for 4~5 days standby. Connectivity options include FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 LE, micro-USB V2.0, mobile hotspot, GPS and A-GPS. It measures 146 x 70.5 x 6.4 mm and weight is only 145gm.
The Zero supports accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, G-sensor, e-compass and gyroscope sensors.
