Toshiba has launched a new tablet, the Encore Mini, with a tag price of US $119.99 in the USA. It can be purchased from its website. It will be available in Germany, France, and the UK also, but later this year.
The new Toshiba Encore Mini features a 7 inch (1024×600 pixels) touchscreen display and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS out-of-the-box. An Intel Atom Z3735G processor powers it with 1 GB of RAM.
At 0.43-inch slim, it weighs 12.5 ounces. Toshiba Encore Mini houses a 2 MP rear and 0.3 front-facing camera. It comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage and a MicroSD card slot. The company is also offering 1TB of OneDrive free storage to users with this tablet.
In terms of connectivity options, it includes micro USB 2.0, WiFi 802.11n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Toshiba is also offering a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal.
