Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri is a very interesting premium smartphone, that costs 6,000 USD (roughly Rs. 3,71,400). It will be up for sale starting late December.
According to the company, only 1947 units will be available in the market, because 1947 is birth year of Lamborghini founder Tonino Lamborghini. The phone was designed in Italy and sports the recognizable raging bull logo (which was inspired by the Taurus constellation).
The Tonino Lamborghini 88 Tauri supports dual-SIM (WCDMA+WCDMA) with dual standby functionality. Both SIM also can be used with 4G SIMs. The handset is made of steel, will be available in Gold, Black or plain steel colours, along with leather choice of Black, Blue, Red, Orange and Brown.
The 88 Tauri features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is no details available about internal storage, but it will support microSD card (up to 64GB). It houses a big 20-megapixel rear camera, while it also houses an 8-megapixel front camera.
The 88 Tauri packs a 3400mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 35 hours of talk time and 1,000 hours of standby time.
