Symphony has launched a new Lollipop-based smartphone, dubbed Symphony M1. Notably, M1 is the first smartphone from the company, running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box. It is available in the country at TK 7,290 (about $93) through selected Grameenphone centers only.
The Symphony M1 is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.7-inch qHD IPS touchscreen display with 960 X 540 pixels of resolution. The built-in 8GB storage is further expandable via up to 32 GB MicroSD card.
The M1 smartphone houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with Flash Light and boasts a 2 MegaPixel front-facing snapper for selfies/video calling. The phone includes 3G, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, GPS/AGPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack in terms of connectivity options. It also has Dual SIM (WCDMA+GSM) with dual standby functionality.
The M1 is equipped with sensors like Accelerometer, Light, Proximity, Infrared (IR), and G-Sensor. It also has Smart Remote Controller and Dedicated Music Key. It measures 136.6 X 68 X 9.1 mm, but no word about its weight.
