Previous month launched with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS; Swipe Konnect 5.0 is now available with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS in India. The company, which has already purchased this device, can get KitKat update by visiting the nearest service center.
Swipe Telecom, a California-based firm, is now offering Swipe Konnect 5.0 smartphone (Price Rs 8,999) with KitKat update. An upgraded version of Swipe Konnect 4, Konnect 5.0 features a 5-inch Capacitive touchscreen (540×960 pixels) qHD IPS display with One Glass Solution (OGS) technology.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, which firms 1GB of DDRIII RAM. It houses an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also a 3.2MP front-facing secondary camera for selfies. It boasts a built-in memory of 8GB capacity, which can be further expanded to 32GB with a microSD card.

Connectivity options on the Swipe Konnect 5.0 include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4, FM radio, Kingsoft office, 3.5mm headphone jack, micro-USB, dual SIM (Dual Standby / 3G+3G), and GPS. Konnect 5.0 smartphone packs a 1950mAh polymer-ion battery. Its dimension is 148x74x8.9mm and weighs 135 grams. It’s worth noting that the smartphone comes with a free screen guard, flip cover, and premium business navigator worth Rs 1,499.
